Everyone is talking about jobs these days. But how often do you really try to envision what some jobs may actually be like?
Well, check out some of these great pictures of jobs from workers all across the globe. Some might inspire you. Some might make you realize what you have isn’t so bad after all.
Let me know what you’re thinking after viewing them:

What a truly global economy we have Brian. Thanks for sharing. I’ll stick to career coaching but I’m reminded of my auditing days where I visited a steel factory. It made me appreciate all the hard work that allows for our modern lifestyles!

Thanks, Maggie. So true!
I sometimes laugh about my days making frozen custard at Cleary’s in Madison, WI in 1986 or popping popcorn at Vic’s Corn Popper in Madison, WI from 1986-88 but I learned a TON from doing the ol’ manual labor — and about small business ownership from my bosses at both companies. Good stuff that I still apply to my work today.
Additionally….and some will think I’m crazy….but I was seriously just wondering the other day what it’d be like to be a welder. Yes, a welder. They make ships and railcars here in Portland….and I want to check it out. I even checked out a course at our community college. Brian the Welder? Not forever. But I think it’d be really cool to take a course at night and on the weekends to learn the skill and try my hand at it a bit. What a feeling to say, I helped make that railcar or ship! You NEVER know….I doubt I’d quit my day job as I love it too….but my mind is always wanting to learn.
Cheers!
